NOTE: Valentines Day // Being single
Being the single person that I am, I thought this past weekend would be one of the most dreadful and lonely weekends of my life. Yet it turned out to being pretty awesome! I really enjoyed spending time with my friends who are the highlight of my weekend. I seem to have some kind of romantic relationship going on with Absolute vodka and cranberry juice nowadays, which is something I thought I should share :-D
Hoping that you all enjoyed your Valentines Day weekend, especially YOU ladies!! Tweet us your gifts, we know you want to show of to us single people. Let us see!
This is an outfit I wore on friday before roaming the streets of the town with my homies. I am still working on my photography skills so please bare with me people, this wasnt even me taking the pictures but a friend.
Inspired by Valentines Day ofcause :-)

NOTE: Inspired by the weather
The weather this past week in King Williams Town has been pretty bipolar. Fluctuating and changing each and every day- one night its raining, another day its windy, then another day the sun comes out so on. Im really not enjoying this sudden gloomy winter weather- more especially in summer, we shouldnt be experiencing rain and such terrible cloudy and grey days during the day. Or should we? I feel completely uninspired in this state of weather because all I tend to think about is staying indoors and making sure Im comfortable and warm. So when I do go out I just throw on a combination of strange things like boots, a pair of jeans and a leather jacket. I'd like to think clothing was meant for people to look great and be functional and practical. Looking good in the rain and in strong winds becomes the last thing on my mind. As a matter of fact, any day when Im not having to cover up happens to be a blessing to me.
On this particular day the sun decided to grace us, and I will admit and say I can feel my mood once again bright, inspired and chipper. I want people to understand how simple I am in the way in which I dress. That way, it also becomes easy for people to talk to me and to approach me about anything concerning fashion or style. I want my readers to know how insanely in love with fashion I am and how ordinary of a guy I really am. Looking good is all about the styling; not about buying expensive clothes or wearing labels from head to toe. This is how inspired I was by todays sunny weather.

STREET STYLE CRUSH: Yanga Nquma // Cropped tops
Unless you've been living under a rock or somewhere in the middle of ilali (oops) you probably should know how cropped tops have been everywhere this season. On the streets and on runway shows all over the world. A lot of girls tend to think of cropped tops as only suitable for girls with slim and toned 'tummies' like for example Miley Cyrus or Emma Stone. Well, I can tell you now that cropped tops can look flawless on big girls too. If your a big girl I think the trick lies in the way in which you style it, careful and simple styling is important; another thing is picking the right crop top for your body type- which preferably in my opinion is a crop top with long sleeves or one with a higher neckline which wont expose much of your body.
So ladies, It's possible for every body type to rock and look good in a crop top. This is my dear friend Yanga Nquma- a big girl wearing a crop top that she designed and made herself.
